James Petree with Petree Electric did various work for me today and I couldn’t be happier. He changed out fluorescent lighting to LED lighting, put my overhead lighting on a dimmer switch, changed out all my undercabinet lighting in the kitchen to LED lighting and also changed out bulbs that got way too hot in my office to LED bulbs , as well as installed all new smoke alarms, some GFI plugs and fixed my ceiling fan by installing a new receiver (with a new remote) as the old remote control no longer worked. James is a nice young man with great work ethic, growing his business. He was on time, did exactly what he promised to do, cleaned up after himself, and I felt for everything he did was very reasonably priced. He will definitely be my go to electrician for any future needs.
I can honestly say that if I could give ten stars to James I would! His honesty, his knowledge and ability to explain in layman’s terms is amazing. I wish I’d had him all along. His prices are very reasonable,his troubleshooting is thorough and explained as he goes in actual terms I understand on any issues. He listens to you carefully and is so respectful. His response time to get back to me on my first call to him was wonderful. I had even interrupted a family birthday. Even so, he was kind&courteous on the phone making sure it wasn’t an emergency and that he’d work me into his schedule. He was on time and called before arriving. He was even kind to my loud obnoxious fur babies! If you need an electrician, James Petree is the go to guy! I’m so glad we found him.
Excellent service. My friend referred me to James and I’m glad she did. I needed his help to determine if I needed a new dishwasher or if there was something wrong with my electrical panel. He explained things clearly and I trust his diagnosis. Easy to work with, good communication, fair price.

James was amazing, extremely professional, and honest over the phone and when he came out to install my Lectron Electric Vehicle Charging Station (WiFi) 48 Amp with App Control - Powerful Level 2 EV Charger (240V) with NEMA 14-50. I am very impressed, and I even shopped around, but found his prices MUCH more reasonable, without blowing smoke. I originally had another company scheduled for the job, but they kept pushing the appt. back. Once everything was installed, James helped me setup the WiFi features and test the system. If you want honest work from a truly amazing guy, call James. I will be referring people to him from now on. Thank you

They did a fantastic job on our media room build, providing new circuits from the breaker panel and installing wall outlets and lighting for the project. We were having problems on our large, covered back patio. After installing heaters and other appliances, including fans and lighting, we kept tripping our breaker box with an overload. We found James Petree highly recommended on the NextDoor app, and we are so happy we did. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He was on time and came in and accessed the situation, gave us a reasonable quote, then had the work done in just a few hours. He was very respectful of us and our home. As a bonus, he is a very kind, warm person with a great vibe. We were so comfortable having him in our home; he’s very trustworthy. Again, happy we found him! Found James on NextDoor app to get my Solar system fixed. We recently needed to get our Solar system fixed. He was able to get everything fixed for us in no time! He not only fixed the issue quickly but also came back after a few days to fix another issue without any service call fee. His rates are very reasonable and is a thorough professional with deep solar and electrical knowledge. Would definitely hire him again for all my electrical/solar needs! Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a Licensed electrical professional!
James @ Petree Electrical was great to work with, he made the entire process simple. He's very responsive, he had my estimate to me in a few hours. I felt his prices were very reasonable and booked the job immediately. He installed 2 new ceiling fans, figured out what was wrong with an existing one, ordered the part to fix it, instead of telling me I needed a new one. Installed new lighting on the patio, outlets from 2 to 4 plugs. Changed out outlets inside & outside. He's punctual, professional and easy to work with. I'm already working on his next project. You won't be disappointed!
Petree Electrical just finished a full home lighting upgrade for us, and the results are incredible. I felt comfortable booking them and calling to the next step after going over the scope - great questions and communication to make sure they knew what I wanted and what would be possible. James was prompt the day of the appointment, knowledgeable, and hard working. He took me through the steps as he was doing them so I knew how everything worked or was being laid out for future options. Overall great service and exception work!! Thank you James!! James had a high attention to detail, was very competitively priced, and got the job done exactly as I wanted in a shorter time frame than expected.
